When you hear the term “internet marketing“, what do you think of?

Alternatively, if you take the time to provide good content to your readers on a regular and frequent basis, you’ll discover that your readers take all of your emails far more seriously, and as a result your emails will be opened, read and acted upon with greater frequency. Essentially, email marketing is really an exercise in trust.

Even though there are more sides to internet marketing than just email marketing (permission based), email has been the foundation that our business sits on.

It’s likely that you’ve at least ran into Jonathan Budd’s marketing messages at one point or another online.  It would be shocking if you haven’t yet ran into his messages online.  Jonathan is one of a handful of Rock Star online MLM producers.  In fact, over the last 3 months, I think I’ve seen him in almost all of the Google searches that I’ve done for anything to do with the MLM industry.

Tip #1: This industry takes A LOT more work than you probably think.  Building a business in this industry either takes a LOT of money or a LOT of hard work.  Unfortunately for all of our lazy natures, there really isn’t any way to avoid one or the other.  For example, I market my business mostly through search engine promotion strategies.  I engage in marketing strategies, content creation, etc for a minimum of 2 hours per day, every day.  When I started, it took me forever to start getting a steady lead flow of even 10 leads per day (like 2 months).  However, in six months, I was getting 50 leads per day.  Sometimes it takes me four or five hours, and I do something every day.  Sometimes people get jealous of the amount of traffic, leads, and recruits I get but they just aren’t willing to put in the work to get the same results.

Tip #2: If you want leadership recognition, leads, and people to sponsor, you need to create A LOT of original content and get A LOT of attention online.  Unfortunately, there’s no way to cut corners with this one.  This is an easy skill to learn, but you’ve got to be consistent at the creation and promotion of your own unique content or you’re going to fall flat on your face.  Look at Jonathan Budd, for example.  Mr. Budd has reviews, tips, training, and advice on almost every subject a prospect could think of regarding online MLM strategies.  In addition, he’s got videos that are plastered all over Cyber-Space pointing back to his landing page and to top it off, he’s got ads that run on almost every MLM company, leader, and system.  It’s obvious that all of this effort has made Jonathan huge amounts of up front money.  Jonathan doesn’t really have any secrets or magic at work here, he simply creates a massive amount of content and works hard.

Dramatically Increase Your Traffic

My intention here isn’t to hype you up and drive you to another website, I want to give you some fast, quick tips on how to increase your traffic immediately using video and article promotion strategies.  This is a four step process, and you need to be consistent with it to produce the kind of results that I get.  What I’m going to encourage you to do is to run through the whole strategy once per day.  If, however you are strapped for time, this can be scaled back to once every seven days.  Alright, let’s get on with the strategy:

1.  First, we want to make an article, or a video that’s educational, and put it on a website somewhere.  It doesn’t have to be the best content in the world, it just needs to be useful and educational in nature.  Pretty much no matter what you do, you’re not going to be able to completely predict where the majority of your traffic will come from.  Some of the gurus out there try and only write content that is going to be part of the 80%, but it just doesn’t happen.  Just focus on creating LOTS of content and deal with the ratios.  The same goes with videos.  Simply research and provide valuable education on your specific niche, and put it up on a website.  You could put it on a blog, an article site, or a video site if that’s your gig.

2.  Step two is to make a video announcing your article, and broadcast your video to the video sharing sites.  I like video marketing because it’s easy to do, they get picked up by the search engines faster than anything else around, and it gets you traffic ridiculously fast.  Confused?  All you need to do is sit in front of a webcam and talk for a minute or so about your cool new article.  I use a service called ‘Traffic Geyser’ to broadcast my videos, because it’s simple to use and it’s the best thing around for video promotion.  When you send your videos out to the sites, point the links back to your original piece of content.  You can use an awesome free service called TubeMogul as well, but it’s not nearly as effective in Traffic Geyser.

3.  In step 3, you write a simple, brief article talking about your content, or maybe even create a variation of the same content and broadcast it to the article directories.  Articles are cool because they stay around for like 100 years and they get you long term, consistent traffic.  Articles also have a cool side effect of making you appear as the expert in your specific niche.  You’ve just got to keep using them.  I use another cool piece of software for this.

4.  Go through all three steps every single day.  Look, this system will work well for you if you follow it consistently over time.  The cool thing is that this four step process works even if your content isn’t the best around.Honestly, even if your articles stink and your videos are second class, it will still work.  (Of course, it will work much better if they’re killer).  However, just do it consistently for the next 100 days.

Why should you keep it up over the next 100 days?  It’s simple, because if you do what I just mentioned for the next 100 days, you’ll have so much traffic, links to your site, and leads coming through whatever system that you use, that you’ll flip out with excitement.  (It works that well).  Stick with it my friends and I’ll see you at the top of the search engines.
